Azura walked her tiny feet bounceing silently across the ground. Blue- greenish feathers flew softly behid her never letting goin of her skin.

"Nice plumage those must'a had." A male voice called down from a tree. The shadow had fallen over the speaker's face, but his brown eyes where fully visible.

The tiny wolf quiclly turned and looked at the eyes. She could quickly run if se needed. Azura could smell the scent of the purple ribbion and it gave her courage. She waited, silently for the wolf.

"Why should I? I'm an omeaga and a scout. Not many like me." Azura said. He didn't seem to wanna hurt her. But she was always ready to run in a momments notice.

"I'm also the scout, I don't need help. I have no need to beg or whimper." Azura said. Eyeing the male carefully. Seeing him reminded how short she was. Even tough she had nice long legs to carry her.

ooc: Kaiken are dogs that are often called Tora Inu (tiger dog) because of their brindle coats. They're related to the Japanese Spitz type. :3

Raising his eye ridges, the dog licked his lips and scented the air. A faint scent of deer lingered in the air, but he was not tempted.

Padding out of the thick, dark undergrowth, Zeke padded slowly toward the dog. He stopped beside Azura, his pack-mate. He felt his lip rise in disgust, he wasn't much of a dog fan. "She's a scout to find pathetic wastes of life like you." he narrowed his amber eyes, pure white in the darkness as the moon reflected its light off them. He growled, "Why are you here?" he asked a dumb question. Territory markers were set, the dog knew this was Pack land, but still came on. He was slightly curious as to why he was going to kill the dog.

Ryo blinked. "Ah I see. You are a Gamma then?" He gave a smile. He was dwarfed compared to the wolf, but he felt no fear. If anything, it would be fun to infuriate this canine. He stretched and sat, a bored expression coming over his face. "You seem to have a short temper and bad timing. Or perhaps it is just you have limited cerebral capacity?"

Azura looked at her packmate. She could have run and got a packmate. But this worked as well. She didn't like this dog. Azura didn't hate dogs, but this one just didn't seem right.

Zeke growled, "Beta. And bad luck is all I have." he felt his hackles rise, and his black neck fur stood up like porcupine quils. "If you appreciate life, you'll leave now." he warned calmly. Of course, his patience was wearing out very, very quickly.

Ryo gave a chuckle. "A cocky Beta it seems. I'd be honoured for you to kill me. The cruellest thing you could do was let me live. I value it no more." He didn't care if this wolf was a Beta or a toad, he had been an Alpha once for good reason. Nobody fought him and lived.

Azura watched the two argue. Itching to find more help, yet glued to the scene. She couldn't run even if she wanted. She was stuck to the spot.

Zeke felt himself snarl. This dog was begging to be killed. Not even dumb ones did that, he knew from being a Beta. They'd learned from their Alpha's. "Why are you here?" he yet again questioned, inclined on getting the truth.

"I said. I am just passing through. Perhaps I'll stay a night, a week at most, but I'll be gone." His brown eyes glinted with a mixture of anger and sadness. This wolf knew nothing at all. Nothing of all his dead friends, all his dead pack. But there was no time for this. "If you feel the need to kill me some much, come find me. I might hang around for a bit." Taking a running jump, his strong back legs launched him back onto the low branch of the tree, before reaching up to the next one and going out of sight. Tree climbing was a lot easier than cliff climbing, that much was for sure.

"He...He climbed the tree?" Azura raised an eyebrow. She looked over at her Beta. "Why are dogs so stupid?" She asked him innocently. She didn't understand dogs to much.

One last growl slipped through his jaws as the dog leaped into the trees. Zeke narrowed his eyes, turning around to go home. "As much as I hate him, he's no fool. He's cunning and sharp, that's why I'm not going to chase him down." he padded forward to his home in the caves. "Not yet."
