Where's My Kid?

The sun burned on his pelt, making it itch unbelievably hard. He couldn't stop though, he had to keep looking, had to keep searching. The trail hadn't gone dead yet. It was faint, but it was still there. He could still catch up to her, get her before she was gone for good.

Amun gasped, stepping a cold nail, old with rust. He was forced to sit and pick it out with his fangs, tired jaws that shook with exhaustion as he pulled it out. It was a painful process that hurt more than any injury he'd received before. But not as much as the ache in his heart. Silan, she was gone. She'd left her own father. He'd driven her away, with all his anger and resentment, he'd pushed her too far. He sighed, choking back a yawn.

The sent of an old tired dog wafted tourgh her nose. Misery sighed. Yes, freash meat. What fun this would be. She giggled softly. She should attack now before he had the chance to catch her sent. She was downwind of him tough. He prey wouldn't know what was comeing. She moved like a snake in the grass. Her heart as cold a ice. Hard as stone. Yes Vixen was doing a fine job with her. It only improved her skills to find prey tough. She bared her blood stained teeth as she closed in. Snarling and leaping at the old things neck to snap on tight.

Amun roared with pain, his back burning with claws burying into his skin. His neck was being attack, scraped all over, but not yet burying into the soft flesh of his windpipe. The fierce dog rolled onto his back, hoping to crush his enemy with his heavier weight.

Why was he being attacked? He'd done nothing to no one, no one but his daughter. Could she be attacking him now? Could she really be that angry? "Silan!" He cried out with all he could, hoping dearly for a response.

Misery leaped away landing a good yard awat form him. "No Silan here, Just Misery. The holder of the Masacre goddess." Misery replied showing of her blood stained teeth." But I do know whre Silan is, I'm sure she doesn't want to see you tough. She's with me and my pack."Misery luaghed darkly. What a stupied old dog. He wouldn't be very fun to kill.

On his belly, Amun felt the dark voice give him strength, fueled his fury. He found himself on his paws, ready to attack her, when she began speaking. "You... you know Silan?" He was rendered speechless. His pup, his own flesh and blood was on the team to kill him? How could that be?

"Oh yes, I helped save her after her daddy left her," Misery said in a fake sappy voice. "She was starveing with nothing to eat on the beach. Me and my pack mates helped her out. She doesn't need you anymore." Misery smirked. Once you were in that pack no leaveing. She made a liveing there. She could feel her inscint wanting to mess with his head, but the voice of her mentor seemed to be telling her go in for the kill, or it's not nice to plat with your food. She could hear Blue's accepting voice. He wouldn't know.

Amun felt weak, his legs made of rubber. "No... She wouldn't go with you. She... she'd die before she went with wolves. She hates wolves." He tried to snarl, but he knew deep down inside, the wolf was telling the truth. His pup had gone with wolves. The very creatures who'd kill her own mother. How could she betray her parents like that?

"Oh I can hear in your voice, You know i'm telling the truth," He soft voice turned into a snarl and se leapt teeth bared for his neck. Why not end it. I mean he was obvioudsly to weak. He was boreing to play with. He only cared about that girl. Silan, yea the little dog who she saw when she was in the ocean that one day. Oh well did it truley matter now?

Amun gasped, his blood ran cold. How could he feel so cold inside when his chest was being covered over and over again in blood? It was surprisingly warm, thick. He collapsed under the she-wolf's weight, his tired eyes finally shutting. "You can't go on forever." He gurgled, "Some day, you'll be beaten." His last words were struggled, but they found their way out of his broken windpipe. He felt all his strength drain, his legs no longer any use to him.

Misery luaghed coldly raiseing her face torwads the bloodly sky. Luaghing at the dead dog. Sure maybe she would be beaten, but that didn't matter. Sachiriku always saved her than. So it didn't matter to much. She sat. "Well I don't don't know who to thank fo rthis meal, so thanks Yin. I guess." Misery said yawning and tearing at the flesh of the old dog. Warm blood filling her mouth. She lapped at the flowing blood and ate the meat. For an old dog he tasted pretty good.
