Silence

The oddly patterned tiny black wolf walked tourgh the dark brambley area of the valley. She called it the dark forest. It was quiet, and full of dead trees that turned into monsters at night. The moon shone down on her. She looked up painfully wishing she could howl. She dipped herhead back trying to make a sound. None came tough. Kuo looked down at the ground and shuffled a paw. She began walking again.

Vixen stepped out of the darkness, just before the black creature. She snarled, grinning wide with sharp, glistening fangs. Her neck fur bristled with pure joy and her sharp claws drove themselves into the moist ground. "Hello." She cooed, her soft, soothing words smothered by the venomous look upon her face.

Kuro looked up at the wolf. No fear, no hate, no emotion at all. Kuroknew these woods like the back of her pawa dn she was light enough to jump tree to tree like a squreil, and escape the wolves's territory. She looked at the wolf silently. She could say anyting. Why try. So Kuro stood watching the wolf. Her tiny frame ready to run at moments notice. She was always like this tough.

"What? Wolf got your tongue?" Vixen laughed meniacally and lunged at the wolf, blood lust roaring in her veins. She needed blood on her taste buds, to send her mind boiling over with the sensation of heated pain and fury. She needed to kill. She needed to kill this wolf before her.

Or was it really worth her time? She almost shook her head, desperate to clear her heads of the negative thoughts. Ever since she'd been around Kestrel, a sense of 'Why' or 'Why Not' has begun to pop into her mind, making her think over her actions. Why kill this pup? She did nothing worthy of the conviction. Why not just let her free and kill her some other day, when she had something valuable. Or trick her into joining the pack. She looked strong enough.

Vixen growled, angered at herself more than the young wolf before her. "Stop it!" She snarled at herself, a paw swiping in the air as she leaped toward Kuro. She had to do this, get back to her old ways.

Kuro quickly doged running up nto one of the dead trees. The branch was high of the ground. Her black figure silhouted by the moon. She blinked at the wolf cocking her head to the side. She was obviously confused. Kuro knew the wolf would never know her name. She let out a breath of air. Her dark eyes darting around to see the familier path of the trees. The wolf was somewhere below her she was sure of this. The scent of the wolf was there. Kuro didn't bother looking down.

Vixen smiled, growling. A tree hunt. Perfect. She could climb the highest trees, and swim the fiercest waters. She'd trained herself hard long ago, and she'd reached her prime. A simple tree such as this would not stop her.

She pulled her claws into the bark, climbing into the tree arguably as fast as a squirrel. "You can run, but you can't hide, my dear." She barked unbelievably calm.

Kuro blinked softly her path clear before her. The bigger wofl wouldn't be able to go in the same places as her. kuro leaped to another tree and began running tourgh the air. Leaping branch to branch with speed and grace. Running across thin branches like it was nothing. Her path brought her toa hole on a tree. She slipped tourgh the hole. It was tight around her meaning the other wolf would have to find away around it. She leaped again to find heself on another branch. She saw a thick wall of bramble under her. Prefect. She jumped down finding the ground she began slideing like a fish between gaps.

Vixen followed, dodging around the smaller limbs and weak branches, jumping wide gaps that the young wolf could not. She swiveled around a hole in a trunk, taking a higher branch above it, and chased Kuro to a wall of bramble. She growled, stuck. There was no way through the wall, it was too thick and she couldn't just shove herself through without loosing too much blood. "Here puppy. I just want to play." The wolf called, eager to find her prey.

Kuro ignored the wolf and kept slideing tourgh. She was near the middle now. She sat down. Looking above her. She knew her escape tunnel was near. She could smell it. Kuro just sat there tough. She ripped a few tangled throns out of her fur and licked her few scratches.

Finally snarling and howling in fury, she jumped out of her own tree and stalked away, looking for new prey. Maybe a tortured deer would do, subdue her bloodlust and help her mind settle.

Kuro softly smiled. Sitting and walking to the tiny tunnel . She slipped in silently finding an underground cave. It wasn't very big but a wall of bramble circled it, and a stream trickled tourgh the middle. She could step over it. It wasn't much bigger than a normal fox den. It had another tunnel. An escape one she dug that would lead to the hills of kolari. She slipped tourgh into that tunnel.
