Just Wandering

She let out a long, low growl, her back to the sharp-tongued wolf. "Do you want to see just how strong I am, mongrel?" she threatened.

Jaeger looked at the she-wolf. "Not really, but if it is what you wish." he answered simply. "I'm not one that loves to fight, I'm more of the greater hunter."

Lynx turned and touched Citali's shoulder with his nose. "Don't. EVen if you beat him you would be left with terrible injuries. There are no humans here to heal you."

"I know how to heal myself, thank you very much," she snapped with the hint of a snarl in her voice.

Jaeger shrugged. "If you wish." he rised to his paws, not really wanting to fight. He'd rather track a buffalo across the great plains, where he'd come from. He met Citali face to face, well not really, they were about two complete dog-lengths away from each other. He stood, waiting.

Lynx flinched, hurt. He let out a whimper and lowered his head taking a step back.

ooc: first o' all, Citali's back is to Jaeger. Second, she never agreed to fight :P

She sighed. "Sorry, I didn't mean to snap." she turned in Jaeger's direction. "I never said I'd fight, wolf."

Lynx didn't turn to look at her.

IC: Trinket was pacing, trying to figure if she should chase a squirrel, or a bird.

ooc: just sounded like it cause she was all like, I can heal myself. *snaps fingers* and stuff.

Jaeger dipped his head. "Very well." he started walk away, back to his slide, or to the tree, or into the woods to hunt. He wasn't sure yet, but as he started to leave, he called over his shoulder "May your ancestors be with you Citali, and the next time we meet, I wish to be called Jaeger." he continued forward, deciding on the forest. He missed the taste of buffalo, but deer would have to do.

OOC: A single wolf can't take down a buffalo O.o Its would have to be uber and super and stuff.

"As with you." she called. "Jaeger." part of still wanted to fight, but she knew she wouldn't win. I'm blind, she thought. That's that.

Trinket decided against squirrel or bird... She spotted something flying above a flower... BUTTERFLY! She thought eagerly, pouncing.
Crystal chuckled to herself.

Citali heard the small dog leap after a small fluttering thing. A butterfly.

ooc: he belonged to a pack once silleh.


Jaeger stopped for the last time, turned and dipped his head at the young she-wolf. He turned back and continued into the forest, filled with respect toward Citali for her sharp tongue and bold attitude. She would've been a worthy opponent. Jaeger shook his head, though he would've never fought her. He followed the scent of a stag deer and he took the royal beast that held 12 tines upon his antlers with bow tines at the base of his head. He savored the taste, the closest thing he could ever have to his home prey.

Lynx turned his head and saw the little Yorkie. He sighed and lifted his tail to a safe distance.

OCC: There is no way he could have killed that stag alone, just like that. No way in pie.

ooc: Soluia killed a deer by herself :0

ooc: don't all wolves take down deer themselves?

Rusty growled. "Let's go..." He ordered Crystal, who frowned.

OOC: Yeah but it was small, NOT A STAG! And they hunt the weakest in PACKS. So a single one can't take down a healthy stag.

ooc: I never said it was healthy.

ooc: XD

Jaeger, happy with his kill, sat up and licked his lips. The wolf left the carcass be and raised his muzzle. He howled, the noise slicing through the air until the forest he stood in was echoing the sound. He howled up into the night sky, to the bright stars and the moon that shone his way at night. Loneliness bit at him as the howl ended, he sat there looking deeper into the woods with no companion beside him.
